SURABAYA, 22–26 Juli 2026 – Delegasi Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Brawijaya (FK UB) yang diwakili oleh Albirru Salsabilandari berpartisipasi dalam Latihan Keterampilan Manajemen Mahasiswa Tingkat Strategis dan Kepemimpinan (LKMM-SK) ISMKI Wilayah 4 yang diselenggarakan di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Hang Tuah, Surabaya.
LKMM-SK ISMKI Wilayah 4 yang diikuti oleh mahasiswa kedokteran dari berbagai institusi di wilayah Jawa Timur hingga Papua merupakan program kaderisasi berjenjang yang dirancang sebagai wadah pengembangan kapasitas kepemimpinan secara terstruktur. Kegiatan ini bertujuan mencetak kader yang inovatif, adaptif, berintegritas, dan bertanggung jawab sehingga mampu berperan sebagai agent of change sekaligus agent of development di tengah masyarakat.
Rangkaian kegiatan dibuka secara resmi pada hari pertama yang dihadiri oleh Dekan Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Hang Tuah beserta jajaran pimpinan, Presiden Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (BEM), Ketua Dewan Perwakilan Mahasiswa (DPM), Sekretaris Bidang Health Policy Studies (HPS) ISMKI Wilayah 4, serta Sekretaris Leadership Direction(LD) ISMKI Wilayah 4. Pembukaan ditandai dengan prosesi pemotongan tumpeng yang kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pengesahan tata tertib persidangan.
Memasuki hari kedua, peserta mengikuti sesi pemaparan materi dari sejumlah narasumber. Materi pertama mengenai manajemen isu disampaikan oleh Fatimah Azzahra selaku Wakil BEM UI, dilanjutkan dengan materi kapasitas kader lokal oleh Izhar Fitrah Ahmad selaku Sekretaris Wilayah IV ISMKI 2024/2025. Sesi berikutnya membahas rencana pengembangan organisasi dan analisis SWOT organisasi yang disampaikan oleh Dr. dr. Brahmana Askandar Tjokroprawiro, Sp.OG., Subsp.Onk. selaku ketua HOGI 2025-2025, kemudian ditutup dengan materi fisiologi dasar terapi hiperbarik oksigen oleh dr. Djatiwidodo Edi Pratiknya, M.Kes., Sp.KL., Subsp.PH(K). selaku Coordinator of The Marine Medicine Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Hang Tuah University.
Pada hari ketiga, peserta memperoleh lima materi utama yang berfokus pada penguatan kapasitas kepemimpinan dan organisasi. Materi diawali dengan pembahasan analisis SWOT dalam perencanaan strategis untuk penyusunan grand design oleh Laksamana TNI (Purn.) Dr. Herjunianto, Sp.PD., M.M.R.S. selaku Dekan FK Universitas Widya Mandala Surabaya, dilanjutkan dengan materi People, IQ, and EQ Management oleh Dr. dr. Sukma Sahadewa, M.Kes , Sp.KKLP.S S.H., M.H., S.Sos., M.Sos., M.M(RS).,FISPH., FISCM., CLA. Selaku Wakil Dekan III FK Universitas Widya Kusuma Surabaya. Selanjutnya, peserta mempelajari teknik Negosiasi dan Lobbying yang disampaikan oleh dr. Denny Wresniwira Danandjaja, M.Kes., MARS. Selaku Kepala Bagian Ilmu Kesehatan Kelautan FK UHT, kemudian memperoleh Pengantar Logical Fallacy dari Muhammad Thoriq selaku Sekretaris Jenderal ISMKI Periode 2026/2027. Hari ketiga ditutup dengan materi Nasionalisme ISMKI yang dibawakan oleh Muhammad Revi Purnomosidi selaku Sekretaris Wilayah IV ISMKI Periode 2026/2027.
Rangkaian kegiatan berlanjut pada hari keempat yang diisi dengan simulasi aksi sebagai implementasi materi yang telah diperoleh peserta. Pada malam harinya, kegiatan ditutup dengan farewell party yang dimeriahkan oleh berbagai penampilan seni dari angkatan serta sesi awarding bagi peserta dan kelompok terbaik.
Sebagai penutup seluruh rangkaian kegiatan, hari kelima diisi dengan City tour ke sejumlah destinasi ikonik Kota Surabaya, yaitu kawasan Kota Lama, Sentra Oleh-Oleh Bu Rudy, dan Jalan Tunjungan. Kegiatan kemudian resmi berakhir di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Hang Tuah setelah seluruh peserta kembali dari rangkaian kunjungan tersebut.
Melalui keikutsertaan dalam LKMM-SK ISMKI Wilayah 4, diharapkan delegasi FK UB dapat mengimplementasikan ilmu, pengalaman, dan nilai-nilai kepemimpinan yang diperoleh untuk berkontribusi aktif dalam pengembangan organisasi, fakultas, maupun masyarakat.
Strengthening Strategic Leadership: FK UB Participates in LKMM-SK ISMKI Region IV 2026
SURABAYA, July 22–26, 2026 – The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya (FK UB), represented by Albirru Salsabilandari, participated in the Strategic Student Management and Leadership Training (LKMM-SK) of the Indonesian Medical Students' Executive Board (ISMKI) Region IV, held at the Faculty of Medicine, Hang Tuah University, Surabaya.
LKMM-SK ISMKI Region IV, attended by medical students from various institutions across East Java to Papua, is a structured leadership development program designed to strengthen students' managerial and leadership capacities. The program aims to cultivate innovative, adaptive, ethical, and responsible future leaders who are capable of serving as both agents of change and agents of development within society.
The program officially commenced on the first day with an opening ceremony attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Hang Tuah University, members of the faculty leadership, the President of the Student Executive Board (BEM), the Chairperson of the Student Representative Council (DPM), the Secretary of the Health Policy Studies (HPS) Division of ISMKI Region IV, and the Secretary of the Leadership Direction (LD) Division of ISMKI Region IV. The opening ceremony was marked by a traditional tumpeng-cutting ceremony, followed by the ratification of the assembly regulations.
On the second day, participants attended a series of lectures delivered by distinguished speakers. The first session on issue management was presented by Fatimah Azzahra, Vice President of BEM Universitas Indonesia, followed by a session on local cadre capacity development by Izhar Fitrah Ahmad, Secretary of ISMKI Region IV for the 2024/2025 term. Participants then explored organizational development planning and organizational SWOT
analysis with Dr. dr. Brahmana Askandar Tjokroprawiro, Sp.OG., Subsp.Onk., Chairperson of HOGI for the 2025–2026 period. The day concluded with a lecture on the basic physiology of hyperbaric oxygen therapy delivered by dr. Djatiwidodo Edi Pratiknya, M.Kes., Sp.KL., Subsp.PH(K), Coordinator of the Marine Medicine Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Hang Tuah University.
The third day featured five major sessions focusing on leadership and organizational capacity building. The program began with a discussion on SWOT analysis in strategic planning for grand design development, presented by Rear Admiral (Ret.) Dr. Herjunianto, Sp.PD., M.M.R.S., Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Widya Mandala Surabaya Catholic University. This was followed by a session on *People, IQ, and EQ Management* delivered by Dr. dr. Sukma Sahadewa, M.Kes., Sp.KKLP., S.H., M.H., S.Sos., M.Sos., M.M.(RS)., FISPH., FISCM., CLA., Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Medicine, Widya Kusuma Surabaya University. Participants also learned negotiation and lobbying techniques from dr. Denny Wresniwira Danandjaja, M.Kes., MARS., Head of the Department of Marine Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Hang Tuah University. The following session introduced Logical Fallacies by Muhammad Thoriq, Secretary General of ISMKI for the 2026/2027 term. The day concluded with a session on ISMKI Nationalism delivered by Muhammad Revi Purnomosidi, Secretary of ISMKI Region IV for the 2026/2027 term.
On the fourth day, participants took part in an action simulation designed to apply the knowledge and skills they had acquired throughout the training. In the evening, the program concluded with a farewell party featuring artistic performances by each cohort, followed by an awarding session recognizing outstanding participants and the best-performing groups.
The fifth and final day featured a city tour to several iconic landmarks in Surabaya, including the Old Town Heritage Area, Bu Rudy Souvenir Center, and Tunjungan Street. The program officially concluded at the Faculty of Medicine, Hang Tuah University after all participants returned from the excursion.
Through participation in LKMM-SK ISMKI Region IV, it is expected that the FK UB delegate will apply the knowledge, experience, and leadership values gained throughout the program to actively contribute to the advancement of student organizations, the faculty, and the wider community.
